Variety: Finger Limes

Finger Limes

Variety Overview

Originally from Australia, these are grown in California and available July through December. The flavor resembles lemons, limes or grapefruit, and juice bursts from the citrus pearls when bitten into or cut in half and squeezed. The color of the rind and the interior pearls varies as the season progresses. Consumers should choose slightly firm fruit and store in refrigeration for up to 3 weeks.
