Variety: Brown Coconuts

  • 4260 in husk

Variety Overview

Brown coconuts are the mature fruit of the coconut palm. They have coarse brown hair on their outer shells, with three "eyes," or brown circles. Inside they have a water-filled cavity surrounded by firm, chewy white flesh. A good-quality coconut will be heavy for its size with enough juice to cause a sloshing sound and will be free of cracks and mold.
