The National Grocers Association Show plans to bring more value to attendees in 2019 with a new three-and-a-half-hour session hosted by the Center for Advancing Retail & Technology.
CART will provide insight on how to navigate shifting industry challenges including new competition, new technological capabilities and changing consumer expectations, according to a news release.
"We are excited to partner with CART in expanding the educational offerings at The NGA Show through this special event that is focused on providing valuable content and learning for regional retailers, independent operators, and other thought leaders in the independent supermarket industry," Peter Larkin, president and CEO of National Grocers Association, said in the release. "Despite increased competition from all angles, it is an exciting time for the supermarket industry, and we at NGA are bullish about what the future holds for the independent grocers."
The 2019 NGA Show is scheduled for Feb. 24-27 at the San Diego Convention Center.
