Albertsons Companies, Inc. is turning everyday errands into rewarding experiences through its latest collaboration with Uber, becoming the first major grocer to offer Uber One perks to all 48.7 million free and paid loyalty members.
As the company continues to invest in its loyalty program, members of the ‘free for U’ and paid FreshPass programs can now enjoy extended free trials of Uber One, unlocking savings on eligible rides, food deliveries and more, according to a news release. This partnership marks the latest enhancement to the Albertsons Cos. loyalty program, delivering added value, convenience and ease to loyalty members nationwide, the company says.
“At Albertsons Cos., our loyalty program offers rich benefits and savings to elevate the customer shopping experience whether in-store, online or on the go,” says Terry Singla, group vice president of customer strategy and engagement for Albertsons Cos. “We are proud to help lead the industry by making Uber One perks available to all loyalty members, not just paid subscribers, because value should be accessible to everyone. The Uber One offer is available now within the Albertsons Cos. loyalty program, accessible via mobile app and website.
