Commodity: Lady Apple
This light green miniature apple has a red blush and its white, tender flesh imparts a mild-sweet flavor. The tiny fruit is less than 2 inches in diameter and is often used for decoration rather than eating. In fact, sometimes it is called Christmas apple because it's used to decorate holiday trees. The fruit is often cooked to bring out its sweetness. It is also known as Api. It is available November and December.
