Tour de Fresh, presented by The California Giant Foundation, is offering sponsorships for its sixth ride in the fall of 2019, along the majestic Big Sur Highway One in California.

The fundraiser’s goal is to provide salad bars to more than 50 schools nationwide, according to a news release.

The 2018 Tour de Fresh placed more than 40 salad bars in schools. Starting in 2014, the event has put more than 240 salad bars in schools across the country.

“This year will be a milestone for the tour with the potential of reaching one million dollars raised that directly puts fresh fruits and vegetables on the plates of hungry school-age children across the country, since the event’s inception,” Cindy Jewell, vice president of marketing for California Giant Berry Farms, said in the release.

The tour starts Oct. 12 in Monterey, Calif., rolling down the coastline of Big Sur and ending Oct. 16 in Anaheim, Calif.

Opportunities to join confirmed sponsors, including California Giant, Americold, DMA Solutions, Sakata, Fight Like a Girl Foundation, PMA and Paramount Export, are available.
