San Miguel’s new facility expands fresh-cut greens capacity
San Miguel Produce has been processing greens in the facility for a few months, fine-tuning plant processes. Construction was completed in the winter, but a busy holiday season pushed back installation of the final production line.
“We are very excited for this new building and the opportunity it brings,” Roy Nishimori, CEO of San Miguel Produce, said in a news release. “This move will improve our production capacity and support the continued growth with our customers and the innovation of new items.”
The new building includes extra office and production space, including two new form fill machines.
The added capacity allows the company to grow production from the West and better serve customers, according to the release. It is within a few miles of San Miguel Produce’s former facility.
