Two-time NBA World Champion Danny “Green Ranger” Green of the Los Angeles Lakers has partnered with Blanc Vineyards, Delano Farms and Four Star Fruit to encourage children to live healthy lifestyles.

Green Ranger grapes will be available at select retailers across Southern California for two weeks beginning Nov. 1 to kick off the 2020 NBA season, according to a news release.

Green Ranger brand grapes are a green seedless variety called Pristine, according to the release.

“We’re proud to be partnering with the Danny Green for such a good cause,” Jack Campbell, co-owner of Blanc Vineyards, said in the release. “Snacking healthy starts early and if we can get kids into good eating habits with a world champion athlete then everybody wins.”

As part of the partnership Blanc Vineyards, Delano Farms and Four State Fruit are set to provide Green Ranger grapes to all Team Green Basketball Camps, according to the release.

Green Ranger grapes will be displayed Oct. 19 at the Produce Marketing Association’s Fresh Summit at booth No. 144. Green is also scheduled to present the grape brand to produce buyers and executives in attendance, according to the release.
