National Mango Board vote on frozen fruit soon

The U.S. Department of Agriculture has rescheduled the vote on whether the National Mango Board programs should include frozen fruit.

The voting will be from May 13 to June 3. First handlers and importers of more than 500,000 pounds of fresh mangoes in 2017, and importers of 200,000 pounds of frozen fruit in 2017 are eligible to vote.

Eligible voters should receive a ballot from the USDA, according to a news release.
