Del Monte Fresh Produce launches ‘Better in Bananavision’ campaign
Del Monte Fresh Produce N.A., Inc. is launching the Better in Bananavision campaign to celebrate Halloween and a positive state of mind.
The campaign is scheduled Sept. 16 through Oct. 31, according to a news release.
Del Monte invites consumers to share branded social media content through tagging and submitting photos on Instagram for the chance to win a variety of prizes including banana costumes, Banana-Vision’d photos and a grand prize cooking class from Sur La Table, according to the release.
“Every year, our October banana campaign gives us the opportunity to connect with hundreds of thousands of our consumers,” Dennis Christou, vice president of marketing at Del Monte Fresh Produce, said in the release. “We love having the opportunity to have fun with our consumer base and feel that encouraging consumers to look on the lighter side of life is part of inspiring a healthy lifestyle — this is what Better in Bananavision is all about. We’re inviting everyone to join the fun, as our bananas will have promotional stickers showing our consumers how they can get involved all October long.”
