Founded in 1983, Cambridge Farms works with potato growers throughout the East Coast region and works with markets for major growers in Maine, said Ken Gad, president of Cambridge Farms, South Easton, Mass.

Approaching relationships with a partnership mindset is critical, Gad said.

“Buyers and sellers are adversaries and one wants to win: partners try and make everybody win,” he said.

The company has dedicated growers that pack and produce what the firm’s loyal retail and foodservice customers want, he said.
